You can hear Lisa weekly on THE SOLOMON FREE MONEY HOUR with her husband and business partner, Fred Solomon and Kerri Kasem providing valuable insight and tips for consumers in laymen's terms. "I was born to help others I am busy by choice. I take advantage of my energy and drive to do everything I want and to serve those around me. It's simple for me to provide solutions and I enjoy making a difference. As Zig Ziglar says, ‘If you help enough people get what they want, you will always have what you want.’” Lisa is the Real Estate Director for Solomon Financial and www.CoastieraProperties.com. She partners with investors, homeowners, real estate developers and the like to help market and expand clients’ real estate portfolios. She partnered with Solomon Financial in 2001 to help expand business to incorporate high volume and referable systems with her business and consulting background.
Lisa feels like she has two families with a teenage son, Matthew (who is already learning our business) and started motherhood over with baby boy Fred Solomon, III ("Trey"). She loves and appreciates the beauty and opportunities Southern California offers and brings her warm, Texan spirit to friends, clients and colleagues.
Lisa is licensed with the California Department of Real Estate, and is a member of NAWBO (National Association of Women Business Owners). She devotes her time educating clients, friends and family. Showing people all of their best OPTIONS and providing a friendly and informed conversation is important to Solomon Financial. We take the time to answer questions and provide a consultative approach so that you, the consumer, can personally discover the tools and valuable information we offer. “I remember what it was like to be a first time homebuyer. It is important that people are educated and have the information accessible. I knew early on when I first bought a home I did not know what was going on with the process or not know what to expect. When I bought my first home in Texas, I was never told that I didn't have to pay 2 points, that there are actually choices, I was just never informed about them, and that I was to just sign on the dotted line. Therefore, I love helping others make informed, smart decisions and to make sure that they will not get taken advantage of, no matter which agent they use.
She prides herself on growing up in Texas and bringing her genuine, friendly and personable attitude. Don't get started on the subject matter of appreciation with her. Her life is a culmination of hard work, dedication, motivation and appreciation for "opportunity that is presented daily -- all you have to do is show up for it in every aspect of your life. Because she grew up in a city with limited opportunities where you don¹t generally get ahead (a border town near Mexico), she never let anyone or anything discourage her from reaching her goals. If you ask her what made her move to California, totally by herself, without the approval of anyone, her answer is, “Because I could! How would I have known, if I never tried? I took advantage of the American Dream and I took the intuitive risk to change my life. It was the best thing I ever did.”
Lisa is working on completing her BS in Psychology and has a passion for helping others, consulting, developing and marketing businesses into successful, innovative and fun environments. Her background includes working with various walks of life incorporating extensive marketing and knowledge in: human resources, working with high profile court reporting firms and a former ITT Hartford company, insurance companies, retail stores, school districts, medical office/staffing agencies, administration, graphics design, desktop publishing, directing offices and writing.
Her passion for writing is unquestionable. She writes free stories for others: www.IwriteYourStory.com “I never knew that perceptiveness in someone else’s words would do for me one day. I always thought that those who are extraverts, those who can speak well always had the upper hand. Little did I know what writing can do that oral words cannot: last a lifetime. They may be the only legacy you leave behind.” Lisa is currently working on publishing a book with Fred Solomon called PUT YOUR MONEY WHERE YOUR HOUSE IS and a fiction novel entitled, “Through Her Eyes.” She currently authors our company newsletters and other promotional material.
For fun, Lisa likes to write, hike, run (she's done four 1/2 marathons and continues to recruiting others), travel to new places (a mission to Africa is on the list), visit Kauai, cook and loves spending time with her family. Her family is a strong part of her belief system and drive to succeed.
